Making a difference

Mike and Miranda Jemphrey

Michael and Miranda Jemphrey, having spent 15 years in Mali working on the
Supyire translation project, are now based in Belfast.

Michael is a translation and anthropology consultant with Wycliffe: training
translation teams in Africa. He helps to deliver the Introduction to Mentoring online
course and heads up the Creation Care Unit

Miranda works in member care of Wycliffe colleagues serving in French speaking
West Africa. She helps Michael with the Introduction to Mentoring course, offers
coaching and facilitates in the Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills workshop.

Since COVID 19 they no longer travel as frequently to French speaking Africa as
before. Rather they work through Zoom and other IT platforms. This has enabled
them to continue to train many in Mentoring and Interpersonal Skills.

If you wish to receive news from the Jemphreys please send an email
to miranda_jemphrey@sil.org
Their newsletters usually appear twice a year.
