Making a difference
Kenny and Andrea Woodrow
Kenny and Andrea Woodrow continue to work “remotely” from Belfast for Wycliffe in Uganda and Tanzania. They started with their two children in Kenya and in recent years have been in Tanzania. Kenny’s expertise is in technology, printing, and the illustrations in newly translated versions of the Bible and other Christian literature.
Andrea’s main work is in Member Care, i.e. supporting Wycliffe members and their families through all sorts of difficult situations as they settle, or work in remote areas. They have been back home for a couple of years and Kenny now works full time from the local office by internet, and Andrea does her part time support work by Skype.
She also continues to make use of her professional counselling qualifications. While the Woodrow family were in Tanzania we were able to send out teams to help run activities for the children of the Wycliffe staff while the important yearly conference was taking place.
