Knock is seeking to call an Associate Minister to assist with the development of the congregation. The key tasks and responsibilities are to bring freshness and relevance to worship, particularly the pulpit ministry, across the whole church family; this will be shared with the Minister.
We are also looking for someone who can promote an understanding of discipleship, including the development of small groups, and encourage the spiritual growth of the congregation as a covenant family. The Associate will contribute to the further development of the work of evangelism, both within Knock and in the wider community.
We are currently reviewing pastoral care and are looking for a colleague who will oversee the development and implementation of an enhanced system of care for all members.
• Are you a committed Christian in full membership of a Christian congregation?
• Are you able to uphold the aims and ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, and the mission statement of Knock Presbyterian Church?
• Do you hold a degree level qualification, a theological or bible college qualification?
• Do you have relevant practical experience as a Minister of a congregation?
